The Pastoral Care Worker (PCW) programme has been supporting the Windsor Gardens school community for over 25 years. It is one of the longest continuous PCW positions in the state. Working closely with the Counsellor, Staff and the Local Churches, the PCW can offer extra support to assist students and their families manage some of the difficulties in their lives. Each PCW brings their unique personality and life experiences to add value to their school community.

Profile:

My name is Kate and I began at WG B-12 at the beginning of Term 2, 2017. Just a bit about me; I'm a Mother, a primary teacher, a netball fanatic, a bushwalker, an artist, a scientist, a local and someone who loves people, making a difference and living life to the full. Recently I travelled to Africa and India as I have a daughter living in South Africa and a son in India. I'm looking forward to the challenge of finding my place in the school community and getting to know as many people as possible.
